Valentino Red in Bologna

The streets of Bologna, Italia were lined with faded yellow and burnt orange frescoes, coral-hued houses, and sepia churches, so you can imagine how startled I was to encounter this saturated bright red ensemble as worn by this striking woman to the right. The look immediately made me think of Valentino and his signature shade for womenswear.

It was impossible not to notice her as we walked down the narrow, cobbled streets.

I am pretty sure that this is how I want to dress when I'm older. Simply stunning.
